Is Santander worth visiting?

Is Santander worth visiting? Definitely it’s a must when exploring Northern Spain

I can honestly say that Santander in the Cantabrian province of Northern Spain, hits all the bells and whistles of the larger cities around the country. But it does so without being flashy or having a slew of attractions that try to cater to the masses, it really feels like that hidden jewel that makes you wonder why you didn’t come here sooner to visit.

With natural beauty that starts right at the waterfront with walking promenades that skirt the perimeter of small rocky coastlines, a scenic harbor and golden sandy beaches that draw in those sun seekers, its no secret that the region attracts mostly Spaniards visiting from the rest of the country looking for a fun and authentic experience without dealing with hordes of tourists crowding into the same venues, restaurants and hang out spots around the city.
